Pet Hair and Odor Removal in Grand Junction

Dog hair is the number one thing people ask us about, and it is one of the things our reviews mention most. A regular vacuum will not get it. Hair weaves into cloth seats and carpet fibers and has to be worked loose with the right brushes, rubber tools and a strong extractor before it comes out. That is what our pet hair removal is for.

What we do

  • Loosen and lift embedded hair from cloth seats, carpets, floor mats and cargo areas
  • Extract the hair rather than pushing it around
  • Shampoo or steam the affected surfaces so dander and oils come out with the hair
  • Clean the plastics and vents where hair collects
  • Treat lingering pet odor with a deep clean and steam, with an odor treatment available for stubborn smells

Pricing

Pet Hair Removal is a $50 add-on to an Interior Detail (Interior Detail starts at $185 for cars and $210 for trucks, SUVs and vans). For a vehicle that has carried a dog every day for years, we may quote additional time at the walk-around. Odor Removal is quoted after we see and smell the vehicle, since a spilled coffee and a wet dog that lived in the back seat all summer are not the same job.

Common situations

  • The dog rides in the back seat or cargo area every day and the hair is in every fiber
  • A pet accident on the seat or carpet that has left a smell
  • Buying or selling a used vehicle that a previous owner's pets rode in
  • Cat hair, which is finer and harder to pull than dog hair
  • Hunting and ranch trucks after a season of dogs, mud and feed

What to expect

Drop the vehicle at our shop on Weslo Ave in Grand Junction, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. We do a walk-around with you, confirm the price, and give you a pickup time. Most pet hair jobs are done the same day. You get the vehicle back with the hair gone, the seats and carpet clean, and no smell. See real results on our before and after page.

Frequently asked questions

Can you get all of the dog hair out?

In almost every case, yes. Hair that has been ground into carpet fibers for years can leave a few strands, but the difference is dramatic and most customers cannot find any.

How do you remove pet odor from a car?

Odor lives in the fabric and carpet, so the fix is a deep clean of those surfaces, steam, and an odor treatment if needed. Air fresheners cover the smell; cleaning removes it.

Do I need a full interior detail for pet hair removal?

Pet hair removal is an add-on to an Interior Detail, because getting the hair out means shampooing or steaming the same surfaces anyway. You end up with a fully cleaned interior.

Do you remove pet hair from leather seats?

Yes. Leather is easier than cloth. The hair collects in the seams and under the seats, and it comes out with the detail.

How much does pet hair removal cost in Grand Junction?

$50 added to an Interior Detail, so from $235 for a car and $260 for a truck, SUV or van. Heavy cases are quoted at the walk-around.
